Bait Ali  desert lodge & rest area the perfect place in the heart of rum  for all your activities . Bait ali is easily located inWadi Rum, is easily accessed from the main Wadi Rum road (around 55k from Aqaba and 10k from the desert highway turn off at ‘Ragdia’ ). On the main bus route to ‘Rum’ or Dissi’, it is well sign posted with a good road leading to ample car and bus parking next to the rest area itself.

The camp and rest area is built in the Bedouin Arabic tradition blending naturally into its desert surroundings. Together with its large modern kitchen “Bait Ali” has traditional Bedouin tented areas, modern showers and toilets: terraced areas with “zerb oven”, bar facilities and of course plenty of room for camping, whether in the tents already on site or for motor caravans.

There is a regular evening Arabic entertainment programmed and lastly, of course full access and help to all the activities throughout the area…..

Bait Ali is  expanding all its desert activities & now offers Quad biking, Balloon flights & sand yachting as well as the more traditional desert activities

This area offers livery and camping facilities to any through going groups (with their camels or horses) or for groups wishing to start or end their tour at “Bait Ali”: for those who wish to explore Rum on horses or camels, we are ;eased to offer set treks throughout the area – and not to be outdone; for cycle groups we offer a splendid ‘waterhole’ with workshop and basic repair facilities!….
