Bait Ali Lodge is a unique rest area in the heart of Wadi Rum, easily accessed from the main Wadi Rum road (around 55 km. from Aqaba and 10 km. from the desert highway turn off at "Ragdia"). On the main bus route to "Rum" or "Dissi", it is well sign posted with a good road leading to ample car and bus parking next to the rest area itself.

The camp and rest area is built in the Bedouin Arabic tradition blending naturally into its desert surroundings. Together with its large modern kitchen Bait Ali has traditional Bedouin tented areas, modern showers and toilets: terraced areas with "zerb oven", bar facilities and of course plenty of room for camping, whether in the tents already on site or for motor caravans.

WARNING!
Be sure you are actually at Bait Ali by checking either side of the pedestrian entrance to the camp where the words "Bait Ali Camp" and a cut out palm tree are very apparent in english, also Bait Ali in Arabic script on the other side.
Dont be fobbed off by people telling you that a camp is Bait Ali, when in fact it is not!

Friday night is quite often "Party night" up until around 9.30 pm. For those who prefer peace & quiet please double check with us on booking  to ensure we have no large groups  programmed.

Bait Ali is  expanding all its desert activities & now offers Quad biking, Balloon flights & sand yachting as well as the more traditional desert activities.

Bait Ali endeavors to give you or your groups the best and together with the wonderful Jordanian hospitality, will give you a home away form home.

Together with all the facilities available at the rest area, we have tried to create a truly Jordanian setting and actively encourage the continuation of local traditions and crafts.

This together with exceptional views and the easy accessibility of the base must make this the number one spot to meet, whether it be for a beautiful traditional evening campfire and B.B.Q. tucked under the small candle lit mountain behind our Bedouin tents or for the more adventurous Desert Explorers starting out or returning from a trek or safari.

Important note
Please take in consideration that no ATM is available in Wadi Rum. In order to withdraw cash, you need to do that from Amman, Aqaba, Petra, before you come to Wadi Rum.
